Physio for outpatients
Physiotherapy sessions
Using the latest techniques and equipment to help you regain your mobility, strength and flexibility
About physio as an outpatient
As an outpatient you will have an assessment by the physio, so they can determine a programme of exercises. You'll often have a course of treatment sessions but your progress will be reviewed and adjusted as necessary at each one to make sure you're heading in the right direction and building your strength in the correct areas.
It could involve hands-on mobilisation and massage techniques and will almost certainly involve exercises to do at home. If you play sport or need to build strength you may need to use one of our state-of-the-art gyms.
Leading physiotherapist to get you back on track
They look at your muscle strength, joint flexibility, posture, movement and coordination. They then use this information to decide on the best course of treatment.
