Lister Fertility Clinic is widely recognised as one of the leading private fertility treatment centres in the UK. The clinic was established by Mr Sam Abdalla in 1988 and since opening, it has maintained its reputation as being one of the most successful IVF treatment clinics in the UK with over 21,000 “Lister” babies born.
Our private fertility treatment success rates are high both at our main facility and our satellite fertility treatment centres across the UK. These success rates are achieved whilst assisting many couples with complicated histories, whose fertility treatment has previously been unsuccessful or who may have been declined treatment elsewhere.

The Clinic's philosophy
Fertility clinics have different criteria on who they are willing to treat, based on factors like age, markers of low ovarian reserve (such as FSH and AMH Levels) and previous treatment history.
Our philosophy is to treat all patients with a potential to succeed. After discussing your personal history and performing tests to investigate FSH and AMH levels, we give clear and realistic information about your individual chances of success using our Lister Fertility Clinic Pregnancy Calculator.
At Lister Fertility Clinic we don't believe that the final decision on whether to treat should be ours alone: as long as we have accurately advised patients of their chances, those with a low likelihood of success should also be offered fertility treatment if they wish.
Many patients are successful, often after being declined fertility treatment elsewhere. For some, being allowed to try treatment and failing may be part of an acceptance process that may allow other avenues to be explored. Patients can attend as many counselling sessions as they need.

Egg Freezing
Lister Fertility Clinic offers egg freezing with successful clinical outcomes following the freeze / thaw process. A later success with frozen eggs is dependent on the number frozen, we are offering 3-cycle packages.
IVF
In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is used to treat a wide range of fertility problems. For many, such as tubal factor or age-rated infertility it may be the first-line treatment and for others may only be recommended if simpler treatments fail.
Using donor eggs
Several categories of women may require egg donation - these include women who still menstruate and have normal ovarian function, as well as women whose ovaries no longer function normally who may have gone through the menopause.

In vitro fertilisation IVF

IVF is used to treat a variety of fertility problems. During IVF treatment, sperm is combined with an egg in a laboratory. The fertilised egg (embryo) is then transferred to a woman's womb. IVF can be carried out with a couple's own sperm and eggs, or with donor sperm or donor eggs.
