The Hospital continues to invest in state-of-the-art facilities, departments and medical teams. Throughout The Lister Hospital you will see evidence of this investment. We have four operating theatres including two that are equipped with ultra-clean ventilation for specialised orthopaedic surgery. For improved diagnostics we have introduced digital mammography for breast examination as well as a powerful new generation MRI scanner. With our new hospital-wide IT infrastructure, doctors can now instantly review patient scans and x-rays online. Our wireless network will enable nurses to use portable ‘PDA’ devices to enter patient data directly from the bedside as a failsafe system of ensuring correct medication.
